I create characterful art using mixed media techniques. My work includes pieces in ink, paint, collage, print and digital media.

Inspired by a lifelong interest in watching animals, people and landscapes, I enjoy combining these elements to create expressive illustrations with varied mark making techniques and elements of abstraction.

Recent clients include the University of Liverpool, for whom I designed a set of three illustrations for use on merchandise and other promotional materials.

I regularly take on commissions for artworks from personal clients, which have included portraits, pet portraits, wedding invitations and buildings.

I am a volunteer with the Bluecoat's Blue Room at Norton Priory, an inclusive arts project for learning disabled and neurodivergent adults.

I'm also a listening volunteer for the Wren Project, a charity which provides support for those with autoimmune disease. As someone with type 1 diabetes and arthritis I am passionate about the positive impact art can make on people who are dealing with difficult physical and mental health conditions.

I'm a very keen sketchbook artist and love taking my sketchbooks out drawing in interesting locations. I regularly attend life drawing classes and other sessions with Liverpool Independent Art School.

Originally from Yorkshire, I live in Liverpool with my husband and three cats. As well as making and looking at art, I enjoy listening to weird music and being out and about in nature.
